The 2nd main problem was where the jacuzzi timer switch is located. The wind wipping thru the windows and door leaks are in need of better insulation. Bring some cold weather gear especially in the morning if you are having coffee. In the summer it's most likely not an issue but with 3/4 of the seasons on Cape Cod in cold weather it's detrimental. IT seems this is a well known and unaddressed problem at the CQ. The 2 ceiling vents in the living room area were fully open so it wasn't that. If you cranked up the head the main blower in the bedroom made it staggering hot and did little to the living room. Although there was a thermostat in the room. which is why I'd lead towards a 3.5 or even a 3. No problem if you forgot a toothbrus as they have a case full of them, for sale, in the reception area. Checkin was after 4 pm and checkout by 10am. There is a room safe, iron & ironing board in the closet. The balcony had 2 plastic chairs and a small table. It warmed the bedroom up when it was running. The jacuzzi is in the bedroom and it had an electric fireplace faux fireplace as well that was on a timer. The bedroom was huge and takes 2/3rds of the unit and it had it's own bathroom and a separate bathroom for the living room area which had a pull out sofa. IT was also odor free as they have a severe penalty for smoking in the rooms. Having been involved in white glove inspections I did check the top of the mirror so there must be a short housekeeper (hint hint). This unit was well maintained and clean for the most part. The unit was on the 2nd floor (the first floor units face the main parking lot & although they have a "wood" fence type barrier but I suspect it could get noisy at times) and while the small balcony overlooked the main parking lot, the other walkway entrance side faces the house with a not too obstructed view of the sound. The location is also in striking distance of a number of restaurantes (see Liam MaGuires, QuarterDeck, Pasiterrie Shop, and Fays antinques) and shopping places all on Main St. The kitchenette had a two burner stove, overhead 1.5cuFt Mircowave and a full size fridge with freezer (for those eating in). The amenities (see pictures) were plentiful and they were in good condition and shape. There is a coffee offering from 7 - 11 am but the room we were in has it's own coffee pot. The receptionists were very pleasant and helpful with directions or recommendations. Although you have to pay for parking if you drive your car those hundred feet. The higher rating is basically it's proximity to the sound which is a mere few hundred feet away. The rating is really a 3.5 but since degrees of goodness don't count we will give it a 4 rather than a 3.
